A truly seamless experience from the parking lot to home delivery. I thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable, no pressure atmosphere of IMI Furniture. Their pieces cover a wide range of styles, as well as budgets. The delivery was easy, fast and hassle free. The movers were kind, and very careful with all my parts as if they were their own. I will certainly consider IMI Furniture at the top of my list when buying my next piece of furniture or to my family and friends. Thank you for a smooth and pleasant experience.
Poor Customer Service! Had an experience similar to Jeff's. Bought a custom table that turned out different than what we ordered. The issue had more to do with the lighting in the store (absolutely awful, even/especially with the redesign of the store) than with the actual order. We've purchased from IMI in the past and despite our loyalty, were told by the sales manager and the owner that we were out of luck and they wouldn't lift a finger to help us. I will never buy from IMI again and am spreading the word to everyone I know.
Our experience was great, they are an outlet for many great brands from middle of the road to higher end like Hickory White. So the money you spend has more to do with the brands that they carry, I think it's great that a store gives you that flexibility and your project can then have a very personal feel to it. Gwen was amazing in helping us choose unique, great looking furniture while being very patient throughout.
I had a horrible experience with IMI Furniture in Sterling and will never shop there again. I ordered a custom dining room table and chairs from the company. The dining room table that I received did not match the specifications that the IMI designer and I discussed. According to the customer service manager, the designer abandoned her job. Still, IMI took the word of a fired former employee over mine. The owner, Fernando Rodriques, refused to take my calls and ignored emails and snail mail. I filed a complaint with the BBB that Fernando ignored. The BBB closed the case as Unresolved. 3/7/2011
