I just recently became a member of this golds gym and I have mixed emotions about it. I first came in with my brother with our NOVA fitness class to workout and we were instantly hooked by the equiptment and quality of the gym. Guiselle had helped me with my membership and she was great. My brother had signed up a few days later with Rocco (who had a very annoying attitude) and he took advantage of my brother by telling him if he gave him his membership ID from Lifetime Fitness that he would get his first month free. He didn't explain any details whatsoever and I remember Guiselle specifically explaining to me the details about how that works which is why I personally didn't give her my Lifetime ID. So now my brother has no ID for Lifetime. Then Rocco offered my brother a couple of free classes with a free PT session and my brother made it clear he wasn't intereseted yet Rocco kept insisting making my brother feel guilted into saying yes which in my opinion is not good customer service. Then I told rocco that I had thought I had a 9am free training session with Nate that week on a Friday, and Rocco REPEATEDLY told me that I was not on the schedule. Then I get an email that week Thursday night reminding me of my free PT session, but I saw this email Friday morning when it was too late. I came in and explained the situation to one of the employees at the front desk who was more than happy to help me and he told me that he gave Nate my info and that he would contact me and I also confronted Nate myself and he confirmed with me and told me he would contact me. I have yet to be contacted and was basically scammed out of my free PT session because one of the sales associates doesn't know how to do his job. I notice many good and polite employees at this gym, but I also notice many rude and careless employees at this gym.
With the trainer I had lost over 80 pounds in 6 months. I am at a loss.
Sadly they fired my trainer for the worst reasons. It upsets me that they would dupe me like and right after they made him full time. No warning no time to adjust. I was seeing that trainer minimum 3 times a week and had just seen him twice on Thursday for an hour each. It is very sad that they aren't fair to their trainers and that reflects on the customers.

I am very saddened and scared. It is hard enough to get a good trainer and to build up that trust. To have a company like Golds destroy that trust so quickly by such a capricious action speaks volumes.
Great Gym, Great Staff.... great people who work out there. I love going there! They have a spa and a pool, indoor theatre and zumba!!!!
Great gym, great staff, great atmosphere, overall great positive energy. During the temporary closing they were understanding, and accommodated to the extreme all of my request. I am not sure about the negative review about that persons experience during the closing. I can only speak on my experience, and they handled everything professionally and were very punctual.
My husband and I have been member of Sterling Golds for many years . We are impressed and appreciate the many recent improvements and updates . The efficiency and utilizing of the space is great. The GM Daniels commitment to make this gym the best it can be has been noticed .
