I bring my Bulldog here to get his nails clipped and they do a great job considering how stubborn he is!
For a chain, the staff there is great. I also just had to part with my pet python and they were happy to take her in and put her up for adoption. They also have grooming services should you need... The selection here is essentially what you would expect from any Petco, but they do their best to make sure you leave happy.
The staff was very nice and helpful; but Petco did not have the item (pinhead crickets) that I saw on the website.
Very unprofessional and will not go back to Pet Co because of how they messed up on their end. The girl tells me because they are overbooked (how is that my problem?), they have other dogs they need to groom (obviously, again, not my problem), and they will have to book at a later time when it's not a holiday. It just goes to show that their professionalism is not on their list, customer service is definitely lacking, and I have to make another appointment, go elsewhere when this all could have been done in the same appointment. Definitely pissed off and irritated when you schedule and tell them everything you've asked for and they mess up.
Rude people on the phone and very short when you tell them what was to be done and they tell you too bad they can't and won't do it. Won't be shopping here again either and we have 2 dogs and it's very close to where we live but will go out of my way to go elsewhere.
Not pleased when you make an appointment a week in advance and even though it is a holiday, I specifically told the Grooming Department to give her a full body cut, trim her nails, trim her bottom, and her face with a wash and they state they only can do her face, trim her nails, and her bottom. What's the point of making an appointment a week ahead when I could have had this done by another place (Pet Smart) and waste my time and money on something that now I have to make 2 appointments for?
The price is super reasonable and they always have availability when I walk in.
Good people willing to help with a positive environment towards animals. I take my Python inside everytime I go. And yesterday Kate I think/hope her name was, was willing to hold her, as in the snake and talk to two younger men about the snake. While I went around and grab some stuff. Of course snakes are a threat to many people, but it's great to have a place I'm free to take the snake, and kids are amazed to be able to actually touch the scales of a snake. That probably means more to them than plastic toy from a random store. +Great job Petco+
We will continue to come back for his clippings and for toys and treats!
